FAMILY HOME EVENING!

Josh and I were reading in our week by week pregnancy book last week and it had a check list of all the things they recommend to bring to the hospital. For example, what the baby will come home in, nice warm sock for deliver(who would of thought), maybe a blanket and pillow for the dad, and a few other things. So Josh and I decided for FHE to get together our bag, so when the big day comes we are not crazy trying to get it together (you know like they show in the movies)!! It was kind of fun, and don't worry Josh and Emma, Josh packed the dice for "Never Trust a Pirate" in case we go in the same day!

  1. Haha- I hope we can put that dice to good use! Last night I dreamt you had a girl, by the way. And I know what you mean about nesting...every day I think about what I need to clean or rearrange. I've actually been freaking out about food storage more than anything- it's weird!

  2. We found that packing snacks for the daddy was a really good idea. Even if the cafeteria is open daddy doesn't usually want to leave the delivery room--even if it's been 8 hours just in case he misses the baby's entrance. But he sure does get hungry. Drinks and jerky or chips or something in your hospital bag for J is a really good idea! We were glad that we did!

  3. Make sure you have a brush in your hospital bag! Seriously, I forgot one and my hair was the worst I have ever seen on ANYONE!

Isn't nesting the most annoying thing ever?! I was exactly like you and would leave everything done half way. I literally finished everything the day before I had Emmett...so there's hope! I can't believe only 3 more weeks! YAY!!!

  4. I am sure you are constantly getting advice but just wanted to share the one thing I never would of thought to bring but needed- baby fingernail clippers!! If you look at newborn pics of Austin, his face is scratched so bad!
