Kid's Rodeo!

it's not a true rodeo experience without a funnel cake
car full of kids!
good thing I didn't workout this morning, walking around with almost 19lbs was enough
Trey wanted to ride the pony, but i guess changed his mind-- surprising for Trey Chelsea called me first thing in the morning asking if I wanted to take the kids to the Rodeo, and of course I always love doing fun things with the kids so we decided to get there right at 10, this way we were there for a while and we could still get back to put the kids down for a later nap. So at 1130 we finally got there! I guess it takes longer to load 5 kids 3 and under, along with putting in car seats, strollers, filling sippy cups and snacks, and having 2 babies fed. Oh, and don't forget they only take cash! I think after the 10th person told us or joked with us about being busy moms, having any room for 1 more, being brave, we looked at each other and said, "what were we thinking!" Yes, it was busy but it really was fun and I think the kids had a fun time. Lincoln keeps asking to go back and is now wanting to watch pig movies! I love that Chelsea is always up for doing fun things with the kids, even if it will be a lot of work. I can't tell you how grateful I am for good friends, Love you chels!

Videos of Shane

Shane, like his brothers, loves his bath!! It didn't take long before the boys wanted to get in with him. Trey was a little oblivious to Shane's head, so the 3 of them didn't last very long.
(I never obviously notice how much I tune out the kids sometimes, how many times did Lincoln ask to get in the tub before I answered)
Shane is so happy in the morning. He just talks and talks, smiles and then of course gets his morning gas out. This kid i swear as more gas than a little man his age should. I love the mornings so much with him. Not only is he so happy but normally Lincoln and Trey are not up yet and I love just my time with Shane.

We Have Arrived!! 5 Years!

Josh and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary yesterday! My mom and dad took the boys and we got to go to Taste of Texas for dinner! It was so nice to go out and not worry about get home for the babysitter. Its been a little while since we have been able to go out without any of the kids, and it was so nice, so thanks again mom and dad! Some times I feel like it was just yesterday that Josh came to texas to propose but other times I cant believe we have actually been married for 5 years! I love Josh so much and even last night he and I were joking around asking if we would do it again, and I really couldn't imagine life without him. He really makes me happy, and I can't believe how much in the 5 years we have accomplished together, and I would never change a thing. Love you J, happy anniversary!

Articles of Faith

We have been working on the articles of faith with the boys at night and they are so cute to work with. They both just love it. Trey will randomly throughout the day ask to do Holy Ghost.

BIG BROTHERS

The boys have been so cute with Shane! It seems like care about him a little more each day. I have not been able to keep up with Shane's eating habits so at night I give him 4 more ounces after I feed him, so he will last through the night. The other day Lincoln wanted to help me feed him and ever since he asks almost every time he sees me feeding him a bottle. It really is so cute to watch them love on Shane, something about it is just really endearing!

I Love my Boys

I love to do little things for the boys for each holiday, and this year I was grateful I inherited that trait from my mom. She did a good job of celebrated Valentines Day with the boys while I was at work. The boys woke up to a ballon and some chocolate which is nice that it does not ever take much. Josh's sisters, Shaunie and Kelli, and parents sent a little Valentine in the mail with some sprinkles and heart shaped cookie cutters so my mom made cookies for the boys to decorate and then take to a few people in the ward(his sunbeam teacher, the girls that babysit him in the ward, and one of the other ladies in the ward that Lincoln just loves. He will go into Sunbeans as long as Mary is in there)! Then I came home with a heart shaped pizza--pepperoni and black olives, the boys favorite, and they just loved it. I love hate this holiday! I feel like it is always busy if you want to go our, flowers are triple the price they normally are and I dont want Josh to feel obligated to get me something. We normally say okay this year don't do anything and then I think at the end of the day i am a little disappointed! This year i think Josh learned. I came home to flowers, chocolates and a card! I love flowers I love and would never complain but I will say I would rather flowers randomly throughout the year then paying triple to price on the holidays. Like I said if I didn't get the flowers I probably would of been disappointed so i think my husband knows me better. Hints the love hate for the holiday!
I am so lucky to have the 3 kids we have and especially lucky for Josh. I love each one of them for different reason and couldn't imagine not having them. Lincoln has the sweetest personality. Although a little shy which is hard at times, he out of no where will look over at you and give you the best smile! He is such a good big brother to both boys. Very smart and our little cuddle bug! When Shane starts to cry he will take (normally his train) a toy and shake in front of his face to make him happy. Trey is full of life, and has such an endearing personality. He walks around with a smile on his face, but is definitely very mischievous. He loves both of his brothers. He does a good job of playing on his own but loves the attention Lincoln gives him. He is so good with Shane. He pays a lot more attention to Shane. Always giving kisses and wants to hold him, or during tummy time will come and lay with him. Shane has been our neediest baby in that he loves to be held and bounced around. As he gets a little older he is a lot more content to lay on the floor. He is such a happy baby. He smiles at anyone and talks a lot. He is very much a momma's boy! I love hate it. It is definitely a lot better now but it used to be that he was only happy if I was holding him. But he lights up whenever he sees me and it makes my day. He is an awesome sleeper, at night and only at night! goes down around 830 and wakes up at 7. It really is heaven!
Josh- I couldn't imagine my life without him. I feel like we have not been together long enough to accomplish as much as we have in our married life! 3 kids his 2 degrees, my hygiene degree, and about 3 months away from a 3rd and finial degree! I know can you believe the time has come! I feel like we have gone through a lot of rough with finances, kids, SCHOOL, work and much more, but yet each moment we get to be together I remember why i married him. He makes me smile, he is the best dad, and he loves me. I know that as life goes on we will battle different trials but we will battle together and it makes it seem that much easier!
I love my boys

r

I saw some pictures of our family this last week in the snow so i thought they might like these pictures! I think we have been in the high 60's and it has been heaven! It always seems like the boys do so much better when they can go out side!

Chillin' in his chair!

I was trying to get out the door and I laid Shane down in the boys movie chair, came back maybe 2 minutes later and he was out! Then later that night put him back in it and he was all smiles, he loved it! Lincoln wanted to sit by Shane but then the camera came out and he then made sure not to smile, or at least try not to smile!

After Church

I remember when my mom would make the girls all match and it drove me crazy. I remember saying "Ill never make my kids match" Now i find myself only buying stuff that matches, it just so cute! Yet. another moment of eating my own words!

Come and Ride the Train!!!

As most of you know we love trains at our house. Everything is a train, we have chalk train(that we draw on the chalkboard), money train, lego train, regular train, block train, and then today it was make your own train. Find any basket you could and dump whatever was in it out(fun huh). Then Lincoln the conductor rounder his troops to get in the train for a ride!

Like father like son

We went to go to bed and I peeked over to look at him and found him calm and happy as can be sucking his thumb. Just a little p.s. Our little man is sleeping like a champ!! He likes to be held most of the day and does not take great naps but has be consistently sleeping from about 9 to 730!
