OUR HOUSE

So now that my brothers, and sisters have started blogging, i am now getting in trouble from them for not blogging. First David called and told me I was not good at blogging, then Christy called me and told me she was mad at me for not blogging, and then she told me that she talked to Emma earlier and she said she was sick of pulling up my blog and seeing my wedding dress... I guess now I have to be better! Well the big horrible test is now over! I had a lot of support from everyone, Christy and Emma brought over dinner the night before, with balloons and a bad full of stuff that was needed,( like breakfast, snacks, drinks, brain-food) you know the works! Then David and Jenny brought ice cream, which if you know me, was perfect. Then I got phone calls from the whole family, and our friends wishing me luck, and what i think helped the most was that i found out i was on 9 prayer lists, Josh gave me a blessing, and I was in many prayers that morning and night. So if i didnt pass, i dont know what else would of helped.

These are just fun pictures when we moved into our house! Josh and I scored a California King bed, that is half water bed, so these are the water tubes (or whatever you call them) that go in the bed. I guess he got too tired just carrying one at a time, so then the task started! Dane was nice to come over and help us move all our stuff, and then had fun seeing how many of these water tubes they could carry at one time!
These are our killer blue couches. We were able to rent them from the apartment complex for ten bucks a month, which is a great deal, but its funny the first time we sat on them, you dont sink at all, and the back of the couch reaches about the middle of josh's back, and then if he lays down he hangs off almost a foot... it was so funny when he sat on them for the first time! I guess I will have to say we are lucky to have these couches now because before this, we didnt have any furniture and we would put a suitcase down on the ground and put a blanket over it to make it our nice table cloth, and thats what we ate on for the first couple weeks, but i guess that's part of it!

the wedding

I know, I know, you would think that something as big as getting married would make us make a post, but we have been so crazy busy this week... Shannon would not stop getting off my case until I did, so I figured it was time! Josh just had his big test week, three tests in three days. Crazy i know... i don't think he did as good as he had hoped with the crazy month we had, and missing school a few days he thinks he did okay! Being married is so much fun, I never thought that the two of us could get any closer, but i just love Josh to death, and we have so much fun together. It has been so nice to be able to go home with each other, and not have to say good night. This is just the dress and veil, all ready in the closet... my mom got it all steamed, cleaned and together for me before I got back to Texas! This was our project the night before... Kambria, Sandra, Lindsey, Me, Brittany, John, David, and Brian were all in an assembly line rolling silverware for the reception. This is were my two and half years of Olive Garden skills came in!

This is my mom the morning of the big day, she woke up us girls that morning with wedding/love songs, and she made us blueberry muffins and brought orange juice for breakfast, isn't she so cute!! Just waking up for the big day!! Time to get ready! I had Lilly do my hair, and then Lindsey my sister do my make-up... They both did such a good job!
Were Married!!!

Our first kiss publicly as Mr. and Mrs. Petersen!
Here are just some of the pictures that were taken on my camera, when i get the others I'll post them in an album for y'all to see! This was seriously the best day ever, the weather, was perfect, the flowers were perfect and we had so many people there that we cared about. I am so grateful to be a Petersen, and to be a part of there family, they mean so much to me, and i cant express how lucky I am to be loved by such great people, and most importantly, Josh!

I can't tell you how grateful both Josh and I were to have everyone fly out to Texas, and all the work that went into this day. The person we have to thank most is mom... the tent set up, the food choices, the cakes, the flower arrangements, the D.J., the photographer, the video-o-grapher, helping pick the dress, the bridesmaid dresses, the tiara, the veils, the carriage ride to the hotel, planned out the schedule (which everyone loved) and I'm sure many other things that went on behind the scenes were all planned by my mom. I am so grateful for her and my dad, and for everything they have always done.

Engagment

Josh and I had such a great chritmas, probably one we will never forget... Josh surprised me on chritmas night, by flying down to Texas and proposing that night. I had no idea he was coming, it was all a surprise to me. Pretty much both our families knew in late October or early November. I guess thats a good thing because you know they can all keep a secret. So the big day is on March 3rd, in the Houston Texas temple. I know we are doing it so fast, we are 5 1/2 weeks away and it seems to far for us. We are so excited, and both stressed at the same time. We are planning the wedding, while Josh is in one of his hardest semesters at BYU, and then i take my big test to get my dental hygiene license 3 weeks after we are married. Its good because it keeps us busy but the only times Josh and I really get to see each other is while we are on the library studing together. Its a fun time, and Im excited and grateful for the people that are spending the money and making an effort to come be with us on this day, it really means a lot to both of us! I told you i had no idea, did you notice that I was in my pajama's....

*Thriller

I thought because I had a little time today I would blog some of the things we have done that I have pictures of. I always love looking at ya'll pictures so i thought it would be fun for ya'll to see what we are doing when where not at school. Because we decided to go tricker-treating with Collin and my nieces and nephews in Pleasant Groove on Halloween night, we thought it would be fun to go see the Thriller a couple days before. Its a dance performance, shown at the U of U, that they do every year around Halloween time. It was so a lot of fun, and something different to do on the weekend. This is everyone that went after the show getting something to eat at the "Pie" border="0" /> This is Josh playing with the camera, i guess he was a little bored!

Our Date

So this last week Josh had a very busy week. He had three tests, and i dont think he did anything out of library other than eat and sleep. He was there all day every day. He has not recieved his scores yet but I'm sure he did great. He and I are both so busy with school, so I thought I would try and keep everyone updated. Everytime I make up a blog I save it so Josh can edit it, but now he says just send it, so this is what's new... It was one of our friends birthday's and so his girlfrind ask us to double with them. We went and ate dinner on the Roof (the resturant that looks over the Salt Lake City temple) and went on a carriage ride around downtown. It was fun to get dresses up and go out, we all had such a good time. I'm sitting at our table, what a view huh!!

~Skydiving for Jacqs Birthday~

We went to Sky Dive Utah on August 22nd for Jacqs birthday. Josh blind folded Jacqs for like and hour and surprised her here with all her best friends (Kambria, Lindsey, Sandra, Dane and Adam). Then for the next few hours we all jumped out of planes from 13ooo feet, all landing safely. It was such a thrill and it was so much fun.

The BOY's-- Dont let the smiles trick you, they where so scared!!

"THE GIRLS"

Were goofy but i love it!!

This is Josh and Jacqs landing. This was so much fun!
