Denver with John, Emma and the kids!

To start out our 3 week trip, we first stopped in Denver to John and and their kids! We miss them so much! Our kids have always played pretty well together, and especially better now that the twins are older and understand sharing a little better. We had such a blast in Denver, staying outside as much as we could and wish we could of stayed longer.

 Fun at the park!

Asking them to do funny faces was the best way to get them to all look at the camera.

We went to a park, where there was a train and also a petty zoo. The kids just loved it!

Little River the kids played in. It took a minute for our little Texas boys to decide if they were going to get in the semi-cold water.

John trying to prove something to his 5 year old son. Some things never change!

                                                              TWINS!

Doing a good job of sharing their Grammy but still getting their fix!

Funnies this week

At church after Lincoln took the sacrament he told us he just made Jesus happy(which is so cute). Then he said, "but Trey doesn't make Jesus happy." I told him yes Trey took the sacrament too, he makes Jesus happy. Then he said,"Jesus is mad at Trey because he cried when getting his hair cut, and he was naughty."
--yes i did say he was naughty when i was cutting Trey's hair(he was screaming) but he came up with the other on his own. Gotta love kids.

Jason Lezak

Josh will be so mad that I put this on the blog because he doesn't want to brag, but as the wife that had to support him the whole 3 years so he could accomplish his goal I get to brag. Josh the very first year didn't do as well as he would of liked in law school. It really bothered him because he knew he was better than that and so he made it a goal to do better and his hope was to make it into the top 10%. Josh would joke that he was going to be just like Jason Lezak the American swimmer who came from behind and win the Gold. A few of his really close friends caught wind of it and would joke around with him too. They re-printed his name for his study carol and then Josh had a collage picture up as motivation. So those that didn't know him probably thought he was a little gay, having a collage picture of a guy swimmer.
Today Josh just found out he brought home the Gold! I am so proud of him and all his hard work. I love him so much and hope he doesn't get too mad I posted this!

Sugar Land Skeeters

I took these with my phone so some of them are a little blurry.

My dad got some tickets from another dentist to go to the Skeeters game and we had a blast. The field is a really a cool stadium. They are very kid friendly! They have a swimming pool, splash pad, huge playgroud area, and carousel. Lincoln and Trey brought their gloves hoping to catch a ball, which unfortunately they didn't. The best part was watching the boys run the bases. Every Saturday they let the kids on the field to run the bases. They wanted to run on their own, which was surprising, but it was so cute to watch. Lincoln decided to go for extra bases. I couldn't stop laughing it was so dang cute. The boys did such a great job. They love being out at the baseball games which makes it so much fun to take them.

Funnies!

My grandma told me a while ago to write down the funny things the kids say because you will forget them. Every time they say something cute or funny I think to write it down but I really want to make a conscious effort, so here are a couple.

Trey:
The other day he had a bowl of Life cereal that he ate half of later decided to come back to. I heard him talking saying, I'm going to have more Life, and then got to the bowl and said,"Life why are you now oatmeal?"

Lincoln:
He was in relief society with me, and during the lesson the teacher said something about being a mom and trying not to always say no to your kids. Lincoln heard that and said, "We don't say no, we don't talk back to our moms." I guess I know he at least listens.

Lincoln:
Josh was telling Lincoln to not get any bigger and Lincoln told him that he has to get bigger so he can play soccer and that once he eats his cereal he will be so big. He will get bigger and bigger all the way to the ceiling.

Just a few of the many! I'm sure many more to come.

3 Boys in a Tub

Trey didn't want anything to do with taking pictures, so I'll have to get some better ones another time, but Shane was so happy to be in the tub with the boys!

Shaving with Daddy!

 Our mischievous 2 year old!

Look at how perfect Lincoln puts his Shaving cream on.

This is the boys favorite thing to do with Daddy right now. They think they are so big and of course Trey loves anything that is messy! Lincoln was not sure about the shaving cream on his face at first but he came around to it.

Cuddle Bugs!

There are very few days that Lincoln does not ask to hold Shane. Shane will last a minute and then he is done but the other morning they were straight up cuddling for a long time. They were both so happy and it was so cute!
