Dancing with the Kids!!

Visiting Utah!

He looks like he just fits right in!
Morgan, was the best babysitter and little miss mom!
When we left Utah around thanksgiving time, it was really hard to say bye to everyone, so Josh decided to send me to Utah again for my Christmas present! After I convinced my mom to come with me, we set the date!(it took a lot of convincing... i don't think i even finished asking the question). I was able to see most everyone in the family. Sam and Sheerstie came down and stayed at Christy's house with us because Eden ended up being really sick, Josh's parents, Shaunie, and Kelli came down for a little bit and then everyone else that lives there was just around. It was so much fun, i Don't think either of the boys touched the floor while I was there! After a full week you would think, we would of been ready to go, but it was just as hard to say bye, maybe worse.

Meeting Jaylee!!

Sweet, Sweet jaylee belle!! She was born 5 days after Trey, which was fun to be pregnant with another sister-in-law! Jaylee is so cute, and it was fun to compare fat rolls between she and Trey. They both have the rubber band arms and legs, both in the high 90th percentile for weight and both cute as can be. You would think Josh would have the little tan baby, but no Trey looks so pale compared to the pretty skin jaylee has. Sam and Sheerstie are moving to Montana for a little bit and then back to Idaho, so it was great to see them before they left. We love Sam and Sheerstie and now there sweet Jaylee and are so sad to not be living so close to them anymore. Both Josh and I couldn't be luckier to have family, that were so close to, there like our best friends! One day we hope to convince them to move to Texas, but I wont hold my breath, just keep praying!

3 years 2 Babies and Coudn't be Happier!!

Josh and I had our 3 Year Anniversary, but didn't really celebrate, instead he sent me to Utah to visit the family!! Don't worry we are going away next week to celebrate!!

Our Sweet Trey and his Smiles

This is one of my favorite stages with babies. I love when they start cooing( i think that is how you spell it) and then especially love when they start smiling. I was able to catch a cute video of him this morning for everyone to see.

Boys Will Be Boys!!

Lincoln loves to be outside. If he is ever in a whinny or bad mood, you take him outside and he couldn't be happier. Lincoln has now found is own way to get outside when ever he wants... through the doggy door. He has been doing this for a while now and it's nice for me b/c if I am feeding Trey or needing to be with Trey for whatever reason he will just go play out there by himself. Well, yesterday we were getting dinner ready and just hanging out, and i looked outside to check on Lincoln and he had found the big flower pot full of dirt. He was using the dust pan to scoop out the dirt and put everywhere. It was in him hair, down his shirt, in his diaper and all over the ground. I guess this is just part of having boys, and I can only imagine as Trey gets older the worse and the dirtier they will get.

My Poor Little Baby!!

Lincoln was running down the driveway and fell face first into the concrete. I felt so bad, because he same up with blood all over his nose. He was crying but not bad he actually took it pretty well. I just gave him a piece of ice and he seemed to be fine. For some reason the ice always works for Lincoln.

Brothers!!

The day we found out Trey was going to be a boy we were so happy and excited for Lincoln to have a buddy. There are times he wants to lay by Trey and will roll on top of him, head butt him, poke his eyes but its so cute to watch as he now wants to always be by the baby! He will be playing and Trey will be laying on the ground and Lincoln will come lay by him or just come over and give him a kiss, or even just walk by and say "hi" (can you all just hear it, in that deep voice).
Dont kid yourself, its not always this way but those times it makes the crazy world we now live in with 2 little boys worth every minute!

I couldn't Help it!

Before AFTER
I have seen pictures like this before and have always wanted to take a picture! As you can see the model didn't really want to preform. I did get one but don't worry i am determined to get a cute one!

Happy Valentines Day!!

We decided to make some Valentines Day cookies and Lincoln just loved them. Every time we went to the grocery store he would point to all of the balloons so we got him a valentines day balloon. Can you believe that only a year ago Lincoln was in the same outfit?!!

Big Smiles!!

Just like Lincoln, Trey smiles super easy! It is so endearing and we love it! Yes, he still has a little colic so when his belly is not hurting he is all smiles!

Playing the Piano

This is the cutest thing you will ever see! Papa and Lincoln playing the piano and our little preformer, is such a "ham".

Trey's Blessing 2/17/10

Of course the blessing was perfect. I am so grateful to have a husband able and willing to give such a special blessing to our little Trey. I am glad Josh's family was able to be there for it and wish everyone could of been here, but know its too hard, and am grateful for those that were able to make it.

Then Christy!!

Yes, Christy got to come kid-less, well kind of!! I think Morgan made sure to call at least 2-3 times a day, which was so cute. I think she really wanted to be here. She told Christy after we had skped one morning that she would do anything to come to Texas. Even if she had to sit in the back of the plane and she threw-up(morgan gets motion sickness, so plane rides are hard for her). Christy was so much help, and every time we leave each other you would think it would get easier. Thanks for coming, we love you! See you in March, and don't worry Morgan I'll let you be the first one to hold baby Trey!

Then Came... Kelli, Shaunie, and Josh's Parents!!

Kelli, Shaunie and Josh's Parents came in the day Jake and Lindsey flew out! It was so much fun to have them here with us! It was too bad the weather couldn't of been better for them! When they were here we were also able to bless our sweet baby Trey! Ill post picture of that later. We love you and miss you!

Visitors...

First was Lindsey and Jake! We hoped when they were here we would make them baby hungry, but i think it just pushed them back!! We had a few late nights with some sick kids!! Thanks for coming we miss you!!
Look what a great dad he will be!!
Sorry Lindsey we didnt get a picture of you with Trey, we will need to when we see you in March!

Basketball

Lincoln loves his hoop and loves to dunk the ball, so when he saw the basketball on the t.v. today he just loved it!! My favorite part is him needing the water break!

Baby Trey

I need to write down the story of the day so that I will always have it, so for those who don't care or do care, here it is. After 2 false labors, a stent for 5 months, kidney stones and everything else that comes along with pregnancy I was scheduled to be induced on the 28Th at night and my doctor hoped to have be deliver that next early morning. We went in around 8pm, and I saw the nurse that saw us for the first false labor and she was sure I came back in later that next day to have the baby. I was given a different nurse but the one we had a few weeks before I guess asked to be my nurse because after we had been there a few hours she came and told us she was now going to be our nurse because she liked me as a patient. This was a good thing because she was so super nice, explained a lot and very attentive.
So they used this pill that is supposed to help things get going, which they did. By the time she started which was around 9:30 or 10 (of course they were in no hurry, and i was low priority) I was a 4 within an hour or so. They let me just progress on my own because i seemed to be changing, and the doctor didn't want me to have the baby in the middle of the night so they opted to not give me any pitocin. I kept trying to tell her I was slow with Lincoln and I progressed really fast and then kind of slowed down. She kept telling me things are different with your second and that she had hopes I would have the baby by the end of her shift at 7am. Well of course I got to about a 4+, 5 and sat there for 4 hours or maybe more. The doctor came early in the morning and broke my water at about 5am and then they put me on the pitocin. Then my nurse said now that is done you will be no later than noon. Josh and I looked at each other and that sounded all to familiar with our last nurse with Lincoln. I did change but very very slow. They kept cranking up the pitocin and trying everything to help me along. Not only was I progressing slow but I was starting to feel the pressure of the baby, and Trey was flipped, so the nurse thought I was not able to really get numb because of the position of the baby. I had almost complete feeling in my legs and felt what I feel like was every bit of the contractions. Earlier in the labor and even the whole time with Lincoln I was not feeling anything. I would watch the monitor and had to be told when to push.
So because Trey was flipped the nurse had me go on my hands and knees to get him to flip. Josh was great, right by my side the whole time holding my hand, rubbing my back. I was hurting so bad with each contraction and was having a hard time. If I didn't have him there with me I don't know if I would of made it. I was also lucky to have my mom with me, helping me with my breathing(since I never expected to feel anything I didn't really know how). She was great, and without her I would of been in trouble. So after this the nurse comes in and tells me to sit this way for another 5 minutes, and I just told her I was feeling everything and the contractions now were forcing me to push so she hurried and turned me back over, checked and the baby was right there. She told me to not push and that she needed to grab the doctor. He came right away with 4 other nurses and after 2 or 3 pushes Trey was here. I was so overwhelmed with emotions and so happy to have our little boy here. They even let Josh cut the cord, which was really fun for him!! Not sure I would of ever thought he had the stomach to do it, but he did. All the nurses were great, and I loved my doctor. Being here in Texas has been such a blessing for us, with all the help from friends and especially family. It was a really neat experience to have mom and dad there and I don't know if we would of ever done that if we were not here. We couldn't be more happy to have 2 healthy boys.
The kidney stone surgery was the next day. My doctor was unable to come in because of all the patients he had scheduled and the availability of the hospital. With it being the end of the year they are so booked and didn't have much to choose from. So I ended up with another doctor who ended up being great. They lazered the stone and the doctor said when he took out the stent out there were stones that had crystalized all over it. So he replaced it with a new one that will hopfully be taken out tomorrow as long as when they take the x-ray all the stones are gone!! I will cross my fingers, because it will be so nice to have this pain gone from my back.

Our Little Buckeyes

Lincoln is doing okay with Trey, just a lot more needy and not sure what he thinks. He likes the attention he gets when he is sweet with Trey but hates it when Josh or I are with Trey and not him! I expected him to notice a little but not as much as he is (only because of his age).

Lincoln is so into his Daddy right now! I dont know if its because he is not here alot with school and is liking him being home or what, but always needs him to be holding him or right by him if he is around. It is really cute to watch!! During the Ohio State game he was watching Josh and started to copy him. He would stand right next to him and say "go", clap his hands, and yell at the t.v. when Josh did. It was so stinking cute, i was glad i caught it on video.

Lincoln Showing His Moves

This is what happens when he learns dancing from his mom and Grammy!!
