Helping Make a Decision

So most of you know we are in the middle of deciding where to go to law school. We didn't get into Texas, which would of been our first choice and made life a lot easier but i guess thats just how things go in this house, nothing is easy! So we have narrowed it down from 14 schools to 3, BYU, Houston and Notre Dame. Each have good and bad things about them, its just waying out which will be the best in the end, for findind a job and which school will allow Josh to learn the most. Everyday we ask Lincoln which one we should go... He has been doing this thing where he shakes his head no, (which is so stinkin cute) but once again he is not making it any easier on us either!

Mothers Day

So I had my first official mothers day! I woke up to Lincoln in daddy's arms handing me a card(more like sucking on the card) and breakfast almost ready, flowers on the table and a little gift! I can't tell you how nice it was to wake up to breakfast. But even more reflecting on my own mom and now being a mom myself! These last 5 almost 6 months have been some of the best months of my life. Hard at times, but moments I would never take back. I knew I always wanted to be a mom, but actually being a mom has been the best blessing any women could ask for! I am grateful to of been taught by my mom, and learn from her great example. I think as we are little we don't really know what it feels like to be a parent, even though we think we do. I remember being reminded, one day you will know and it really is something you can't explain until you are actually a parent. So happy mothers day to all the mom but especially my mom., and Josh's mom that we couldn't talk to because she is in Europe.

5 down 3 more to go...

GRADUATION TIME...
So after 5 years of hard work Josh graduated with his master of accounting at BYU! We were lucky to have our family here and to have family travel to come celebrate this day with us! When I was pregnant with Lincoln, Josh would always say how excited he was that he would be able to have a little one at graduation! The best part was we went to the Thursday commencement, and there were some guys walking in with there kids so Josh said for Friday he had to have Lincoln to take in! It was set up a little different so we were trying to figure out how he would be able to, so I asked one of the workers and he mentioned being able to take him across stage. So he did! They called Josh's name and he and Lincoln walked across stage together! It was such a neat thing to watch as a proud dad carried his kid across stage! I am so proud of Josh and for all that he has accomplished. We got in the car after the graduation, I looked at Lincoln and said your daddy's all done... he looked at me and gave me a huge smile and shook his head no! It was so cute b/c he is right 3 more years here we come!
my family was there, they just left early so we don't have any pictures of them... thanks everyone fore making to efforts to be there!
