THE ER CRAZY'S!!

So we thought we would blog about all the crazy's in the ER... Josh and i were there on Saturday and you would not believe the kind of people that were there!! Josh says he was frightened. We were sitting by these two crazy ladies(mind you... they just met) and one was telling the other one how she is bi-polar and how she was just fired from her job. I guess this lady works or worked for the city waste company and she hit a town home but didn't know it, so they called it a hit and run. I guess when they called this lady to tell her she hit the building she told them she had no idea and that this was not her fault, but the guy she was talking to told her he wished he could do something for her but this was he 3rd accident in a year and that they would have to let her go. So this lady said she wanted to try and get on with the school district to drive school buses. Sorry we didn't catch which one she was going to apply for so watch out! So then this other lady starts talking and telling the reason she was in the ER today was because she has been having a hard time breathing and that they think she might die so she would have to get some chest x-rays taken. The funny thing was she had been talking non-stop since she watched into the ER!!We think have the ER was just there for pills! What is this world coming too!

A YEAR SINCE

So can you believe that it has been a year since the day Josh flew down to Texas and proposed!! It was so fun to think about and I couldn't believe it had been that long. I wanted to play the video for Josh but he is still embarrassed by it so he opted not to.

FIRST WHITE CHRISTMAS

can you believe how much snow-- plus there was even more by the time we left

look at the huge icicle we have
(these are the treats we all made for the neighbors and we had to try them to make sure they tasted good... of course!)

So not only was this my first Christmas away from home, but it was also Josh and I's first Christmas as a married couple and my first white Christmas, and boy was it white. They(who ever they is) said that this was the most snow they have gotten in at least 5 years, and of course it was when I was there. We had so much fun! I think Collin came in about 7:30 saying "got get jacqs and josh", so we got out of bed and started the fun. We took a break about half way through, had some breakfast burritos and then finished up the fun. I will say the best was the massage table we got from Josh's parents! It is the best thing for me and my back!!!! Now we just have to find a spot to put it! I also was so excited about the picture i got for Josh. It's the George Washington one where he is praying next to his horse. He has wanted this picture for so long and i got a great and i mean great deal on it so i decided to break our Christmas limit( i didn't feel that bad b/c he broke it too) and get it for hime, and he was so excited!

and the tradition continues...

Had had mentioned to Josh a few times about it being a tradition that we would open pajamas on Christmas Eve, so being the sweet husband he kept the tradition going. We both got each other pajamas and then took the traditional picture in front of the tree.

Christmas... at our apartment

(josh couldn't wait to try it on)

So Josh and I opened our Christmas presents from mom, dad, G, and Pom Pom before we left for Idaho, so we kind of had our first Christmas on the 21st. Josh and I were so excited about the fun and thoughtful gifts, and Josh was most excited about his suit he couldn't believe and it was great because he has been talking about wanting a new suit for a so long. Thanks to all of you-- we loved it all, and we love you!

Going Away Party for Shannon

So we have not blogged in forever and this happened a little while ago, i juts have not been able to get near a computer to blog. Shannon is one of the few people that i met when i first got here. Josh and I have worked with her at Olive Garden and have become great friends with her. Shannon is going back to California to work and then hopefully if she gets accepted to BYU's law school them we will see her back in August... so we all cross out fingers.
