The Cabin!

Two years ago my parents rented a cabin for thanksgiving up in Heber along with 2 ATV's. It was seriously so much fun and "muddy," so they decided to do it agian. Just like a few years ago, it was so much fun. We had a little trouble with the ATV's- I'm not sure how safe it is to ride an ATV with 3 wheels but luckily no one got hurt !!! It was so much fun playing cards, ping-pong, eating, watching football, listening to Christmas music, watching Christmas movies, riding the ATV's, going on walks, and just being together. It was definitely a fun first Thanksgiving as a married couple!

Weekend in Idaho

This last weekend Josh and I decided to go up to Idaho. We decided to go because Shaunie's birthday was on Monday and we hadn't seen everyone in a while. On the way down I turned to Josh and I realized we had talked about coming down, but were not sure if we had told anyone we were for sure coming. So when Kelli answered the door she was way surprised! It actually made it really fun! So Saturday morning, Josh's dad found us a place to watch the game, which was so funny. It was a sports bar and at 10 o'clock in the morning the only other people that were there was a couple guys already drinking beer. So Josh, Shaunie, Banger and I sat there with our pink lemonades, and hot fudge sundays. It was funny because when we order the sunday the guy turner to us and said we don't have those here. Josh showed him the menu and he laughed and said to be honest you guys are the first one's to ever order that here. We loved it! Later we went to see Bourne Ultimatum- which had a funny story too. It was towards the beginning of the movie where it starts to be intense and the movie freezes up and you can see the film start to burn and bubble up on the screen. So we waited for about 5 minutes while they restarted it, and it was still so awesome. Then Sunday we watch Fiddler on the Roof for my first time and I loved it, it was everything they talked it up to be. We kind of celebrated Shaunies birthday and then we headed home. It was a great weekend, we just wish we could do it more often.

A Sad Week!

The Buckeyes lost on Saturday to Illinois, which as Josh says is a save in the long run! Of course he was sad about it and is still going over every play in his head and still talking about it... but he is glad that they won't go to the Championship game and be embarrassed again. Instead he says all we have to do is beat Michigan this Saturday, go to the Rose Bowl, Win, and be ready for next year. Dad says this is his Psychology for the lost but at least it sounds good!

Halloween!!

Growing up our Halloween tradition was to have dinner out of a pumpkin-- so I decided to make it this year for Josh. So we started Halloween night with pumpkin dinner with loopy and Jake and then we started our rounds. We figure Halloween is not any fun without little kids so we went around to see the nieces and nephews. First we stopped to see David Jenny, and then boys. Then we made it over to Adam and Shannon's to see Collin and last we stopped up in Pleasant Groove to see the Hodsons, John Emma and Chris, and have the hot chocolate and donuts. Everyone looked so cute, and we managed to get pictures of everyone except Morgan. You will have to ask her why we didn't get one of her ( I think it was Morgan being Morgan). We really did have fun and I'm curious to see what time all the kids finally winded down from all the candy.
